One of the biggest problems with having poor access to clean water is that alot of young girls in African villages have to forego getting an education so they can help the elder females in the community in trekking miles to retrieve what is often contaminated water. The clean water playpumps ensure that clean water is supplied to the villages without the need for these young girls to lose a chance at a decent education.
